Teaching Philosophy During the years I found that students gain the most progress and enjoyment from lessons when they are committed and focused. Every student is different, and my goal is to help each student find their strengths and weaknesses, discover the exercises and practicing methods that work well for them and the pace that is right for them. Voice lessons can teach us a lot about our body, our habits, our shortcomings and our strengths. It’s a fascinating road which I hope you’ll enjoy. Teaching Experience In the past ten years I have been teaching private voice lessons to students of all levels and ages. I taught in different conservatories and music schools both in the US and abroad, and currently teach in my private studio in Brooklyn, NY. My studio includes a diverse group of students, some complete beginners and some advanced, all of them with different goals and a variety of interests. My students include actors, musicians, professional singers, teens and adults. Aside from private teaching, I spent a couple of years taking part in a community outreach program in Boston that introduced young audiences to vocal jazz. Our work included planning and performing a musical program that is fun, educational and sparks the children's interest in the art of jazz singing. My experience as a performer often helps me prepare students for “real life” as a musician- what to expect on stage, how to maintain your vocal health, how to prepare for auditions and how to take care of the business side of music.
